Education Sponsorship Programme through Give As You Earn
The Education Sponsorship programme has been set up with our partner in India to cover running costs of these Dalit Education Centres. Children's parents also pay a token amount towards the school fees as they are able.


What is Give As You Earn?

Give As You Earn (GAYE) is the UK's leading payroll giving scheme. It provides employees with a flexible way to give tax-efficiently by enabling them to make donations straight from their gross salary to any UK charities. Give As You Earn provides the opportunity for employers to match employees' donations.

The table below shows how employees' donations can benefit through the GAYE scheme and contribute to the cost of individual education sponsorship

The GAYE scheme may be operated through the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) or another payroll giving provider.

RED International will supply profiles for children who are available for sponsorship. If requested, children can be chosen by age or gender.

RED International recommends CAF's Give As You Earn Scheme for employers and is registered to receive GAYE donations through CAF.

Your company needs to be registered** for Give As You Earn and each employee must complete a donor instruction form*** which is available from CAF (See links below), indicating RED International as the charity to be supported, Our charity no. 1112749 and the project which is Dalit Education Sponsorship.

* This cost covers the cost of school uniforms, mid-day snacks,textbooks, teachers' salaries and admin
charges for one child.
