The goal of this project will be to provide 90 litre Hippo Water Rollers for those families who have to go more than half an hour by foot to fetch their water. Normally those are also the poorest of the poor.
The distribution of the rollers will take place through our partners on the ground in Mozambique.
The logistics mean we can take 10 rollers at a time in to the country. Our partner is working in two areas of Mozambique and will arrange the distribution according to peoples needs.
We also like to add value to the project by filling the hippo rollers with 30kgs of Maize, 20kgs of Sugar, 10 kgs of Beans and a kg of Salt. This would cost around £29 per roller
This is just an extra way to use the hippo rollers to help these poor families and communities in Mozambique.
